Stuck....

This is a special request:

The last couple days, the OpenChange project's website has fallen off the 'Net. As one of the steps in getting my development environment up is installing libmapi++ (which no distribution seems to have packaged at all), I'm stuck. If anyone knows the folks maintaining the OpenChange project's website, please find out what is going on. Also, if anyone has a current check-out of the libmapi++ tree, please let me know so I can get it from you. Thanks.

You may now return to your regular blogging enjoyment.

  2. Did you take a look at the sourceforge site ? There's some files in there that might help you :

  3. Starting from some recent version libmapi++ is part of the libmapi package and some distributions (eg. Debian Sid/x86) package it like that.

  4. Ubuntu Karmic also packages libmapi++, but separately. The latest upstream snapshot seems to be from July.

If you want to download the package you can do so from http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/libmapi++-dev, or straight from e.g. the archive where you'll find source tarballs too.

  5. Thanks for the comments :)

Brad has thankfully gotten me a recent (as of July) snapshot of the OpenChange repository. The main reason I need an svn snapshot is that the 0.8.2-Romulus release of libmapi was released in March of this year, which was a while ago and has had some changes since then.
